We understand how important it is to choose the right band for your special event. Here are some points to help you with your decision. From our experience of playing hundreds of weddings and functions these are some of the most important things to consider.
- Your dance floor will be full with your guests having a great time in an excellent atmosphere; we are an established, reputable band with many years’ experience, and rest assured we know what to play to get the party going!
- We play music that is suitable for every age group, ensuring enjoyment for all! With a proven repertoire of hits from the 60’s through to modern day classics, everyone is bound to hear music they adore.
- A truly authentic, soulful sound that captivates and entertains. Funk Conspiracy are talented musicians with a combined total of 80 years experience in the music industry. Trust us to turn your special event into an amazing party that your guests will remember forever.
- Funk Conspiracy aim to never let you down – no matter what! We have multiple experienced deputy musicians for every role in the band, so even if a band member becomes ill we have provisions to assure you that your event will be executed to the same high standard as originally planned.
- We play exclusively for you! Be aware of other bands who have secondary lineups. They may take multiple bookings for the same date, meaning you get a band with the same name but a completely different lineup. When you book Funk Conspiracy, your event is the only one we will play for on that evening.
- Enjoy the perfect ambience with professional quality sound tailored to your venue. We take the time to really care and get well balanced sound at a comfortable volume. Our many years of experience in hundreds of different venues ensure this!
- Have it your way - customise your booking by deciding what times you would like the band to set up and when to play the sets. Give us input on your most and least favourite songs from our repertoire so we can tailor the set specially for you. If you would rather leave it to us we are equally happy to give expert advice on what we think would work best.
- Choose the band to suit your budget. We can tailor the band to the size and sound you require, offering the more popular 5 piece line up, a 7 piece with brass section and the option of Latin percussion. Also ask us about our discounts for charity events, birthdays and student balls.
- Save money in the run-up to your event – we know that weddings can be expensive times. When you book us we confirm the booking by contract and no deposit is required, leaving you to get on with other commitments and taking a little bit of that money-related stress away from your event.
- Save precious money by not having to book a DJ, as you have the use of our PA system to play music from your own Mp3 player when the band isn’t on. Personalise your event with your guests, speak to them in advance and share memories of your favourite tunes then make a playlist!
- Try before you buy! We have monthly showcase gigs in Newcastle’s ‘As You Like It’ a stylish and classy bar in Newcastle that has won awards for 7th sexiest venue in the world! Come along and see us play and see what we can do for your event – plus combine it with a great night out for you and your friends in one of the UK’s most lively and friendly cities!
