North East Wedding Venues vary from small yet cosy pub function rooms, right up to the grandest castles and stately homes. No matter what kind of venue you want for your wedding in the North East it is important to consider that live music from a fantastic band could add the perfect party atmosphere.
Our previous two articles describe some of the factors to consider to make sure your North East wedding venue is ideal for holding a live music performance and getting the most enjoyment out of your wedding party.

Dissington Hall. Dalton, Ponteland, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE18 0AD. This venue has good acoustics and a great, lively atmosphere. The bar is in a different room. The meal is usually held in a separate marquee room so the band can set up during the meal if required. The venue has good access.
Linden Hall , Longhorsley, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE65 8XF. Linden Hall has good access and acoustics. The bar is in the hall right next to room. There is a large dance floor that can be quickly revealed under the carpet in the main room.
Longhirst Hall, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 3LL. The venue has good access and acoustics. The bar in same room which makes for a lively dancefloor and great party.
Middleton Lodge, Kneeton Lane, Middleton Tyas, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL10 6NJ. Weddings at Middleton Lodge are held in a large permanent marquee. There is good access and excellent acoustics. They have a sound level limiter, and the bar is at other end of marquee to the stage.
Headlam Hall, Headlam , Gainford, Darlington, Co. Durham, DL2 3HA. This venue has excellent access and a natural stage area. The acoustics are pretty good, buffets are held upstairs, there is a bar in the side room and the venue has a nice atmosphere.
